Deeniyat Division

A Foundation in Religious Education

The Deeniyat Division is the foundation of religious education, guiding students in the essential teachings of Islam. New students are welcomed and carefully nurtured, following a curriculum set by Jamia Islamia Ishatul Uloom Akkalkuwa.

Over three years, students learn to:

  • Read the Quran with proper tones and fluency.
  • Memorize key supplications, Surah Yaseen, and the 30th Parah of the Quran.
  • Study Urdu books, Hadith (with translation), and gain skills in Arabic and Urdu sentence construction.
  • Learn Marathi, English, and Simple Mathematics.

Upon completing this course, students are eligible for admission to Aalimiyat and Hifz sections.

  • I Standard: 4 classes
  • II Standard: 4 classes
  • III Standard: 3 classes
  • Total Students: 519

In the last 28 years, 2,872 students have successfully completed the course, providing a strong foundation for their future educational and spiritual growth.

Hifz-e-Quran Division

Memorization of the Holy Quran

The Hifz-e-Quran Division focuses on the sacred and significant task of memorizing the Holy Quran, the divine book of Allah. Established in 1999, this section has been nurturing students with dedication and excellence.

  • Classes: 11

Over the past 28 years, 811 students have successfully completed their Hifz education.

Each year during Ramadan, Jamia proudly sends its Huffaz to recite the Quran during Taraveeh prayers in remote parts of Maharashtra, spreading the light of the Quran far and wide.

Aalimiyat Division

Comprehensive Islamic Education

The Aalimiyat Division aims to provide a profound understanding of Islamic teachings and strengthen faith, ensuring students embody the principles of Islam and resist misguided influences.

Established on 1st February 1999, this department follows the esteemed syllabus of Jamia Islamia Ishatul Uloom Akkalkuwa, covering:

  • Tafseer-e-Quran
  • Hadith
  • Islamic Laws (Fiqh)
  • Other essential Islamic disciplines

Students also receive modern education alongside their religious studies. The 8-year course spans from Farsi to Hadith, nurturing well-rounded scholars.

Currently, 110 students are enrolled, and over the years, 366 students have successfully completed their Aalimiyat course, embodying the values and knowledge of Islam.

Tajweed & Qira’at Division

Perfecting Quranic Recitation

The Tajweed & Qira’at Division focuses on mastering the art of Quranic recitation with proper stress, intonation, and phonetic precision. Accurate recitation is essential, as even minor errors can alter the meaning of verses and affect the validity of Namaz (prayer).

In this division:

  • Students from the Aalimiyat and Hifz sections are taught to recite the Quran with clarity and adherence to proper rules.
  • Teachers follow the carefully designed syllabus of Jamia to guide students.

Weekly Competitions:

  • Held every Wednesday, before and after Namaz-e-Isha, where students showcase their recitation abilities.
  • The best performers are recognized with certificates of excellence.

Quranic Intonation (Qira’at):

  • Students learn the seven methods of Quranic intonation, enriching their recitation skills.

Achievements:

  • 336 students have completed the Tajweed course with the Riwayat of Hafs.
  • 134 students have mastered the Qirat-e-Sabaa.
